Q & A – Answering Your Questions

Happy Friday, sweet friends! I hope you’ve had a great week and have lots to look forward to this weekend.

I’ve seen lots of Q&A’s floating around the “blogging world” and I thought it would be fun if I jumped on the bandwagon for today’s fun post! (Haha original, huh?!)

A few days ago, I asked on Instagram (@miss_tara_sun) and my Facebook page if you had any questions for me. I only got a few, but they were great and I’m excited to answer them!

#1: What made you want to start blogging?

Around September, I had a conversation with a lady who was amazed by what God had done in my life–specifically over the course of the last few years. I’ll never forget what she said next: “Tara, you need to find a way to share your story with the world.” People had said that to me before, but it wasn’t until then that her words really struck a chord.

I began praying about it and I remember the Holy Spirit distinctly putting blogging on my heart. It came out of the blue. But I did my research and thought, “Hey, this would be a great platform!” Originally, it was going to just be a place to share my story and update people. I would have never expected to have met so many amazing gals, seeking and searching for the Lord. God has brought so many new people and amazing testimonies to prove how good He is through this blogging endeavor!

#2: What are your favorite things about blogging?

YOU! My favorite part about blogging is you — the readers. I absolutely love the fact that I get to share my life and God’s truth with so many amazing people. It’s an honor and blessing that I get to minister to your hearts and that you all minister to me as well. God has rekindled old friendships, brought new friendships into play and blown my expectations out of the water. It’s crazy how much God has grown my relationship with Him as I’ve been challenged to write for Him and represent Him behind a computer and in front of it. Just that I get to play a small role in advancing God’s kingdom is a joy enough!

#3: What music do you listen to? Do you sing / dance?

I LOVE music! My favorite genres of music are Christian/worship, indie, alternative and a little country (mainly in the summer time hehe). If you want to know a few of my favorite Christian songs at the moment, click here!

When I was four years old, I started ballet at a local dance studio and I never looked back! Some girls played sports… I danced. My favorite was definitely classical ballet, but I loved jazz and contemporary too. It will always be such a big part of my life!

I sing often — in the car, in the shower, around the house and at church! It’s been something that I’ve done since I was young. My older brother also plays guitar so we have grown up singing and playing together. Those are sweet memories 🙂

#4: Do you curl your hair in the morning or evening?

For the most part, I like to curl my hair in the morning / mid day, before I get ready to go somewhere. My hair is really thick and coarse, so it holds curl and volume like nobody’s business!!! I’ve been blessed in this area — my hair can hold a curl for 4+ days. As an additional tip, some of my favorite products for hair care are: OGX “Coconut Milk” Shampoo and OGX “Coconut Milk” Conditioner and Redken’s “Frizz Dismiss Rebel Heat Protective Leave-In Cream”.

That’s it for this Q&A! It was short but sweet! Thank you to those of you who sent in questions — I had so much fun writing them. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to send me an Instagram DM or comment below! I’d love to keep answering!

I’d love to hear more about you! Comment something about you and let’s have an uplifting conversation below 💗
