I’ve using Philosophy’s “Purity Made Simple” Moisturizer for almost a year and I am ride or die for it! Before Philosophy, I used a Clinique moisturizer and didn’t see the results I wasn’t hoping for. The Purity Made Simple Moisturizer is an extremely lightweight consistency that still adds immense moisture to your skin! It’s good for any skin type. I have combination skin; some days it’s oily, some days its super dry. Especially during these winter months! It creates an awesome base for makeup and you can truly feel the moisture coming back to your face. I use a couple pumps twice a day and a bottle lasts me FOREVER! A 4 oz bottle lasts me 6 months+!
I’m sure you’ve heard of this one! I used to think this product was a little gimmicky, but I had to try it because of it’s price. I got a mini version and quickly used it up! If you hate the feeling of a dull, flat, dry face, you need this product in your life. Although this facial spray doesn’t set your makeup or face, it does refresh and rejuvinate. This spray comes in three scents; rose, lavender and cucumber. I like to use it by spritzing my face throughout the day when my face feels dull or in need of a quick moisture surge! Pick it up anywhere: Target, Urban Outfitters, Ulta, Amazon! It’s inexpensive and handy!
Are you looking to add a little more color, definition and warmth to your face? I used to never use bronzer because I thought it was “too much”, but as the winter months came around, I noticed that my face was looking flat and lost its dimention. I picked up a butter bronzer from Physician’s Formula and fell in love! The consistency is creamy and smooth — so easily blendable. It’s easy to avoid the harsh bronzer lines that no one likes! I use a giant fluffy brush and work it on my cheekbones and around my hairline to give more depth, dimention and warmth to my face. Physician’s Formula makes the best bronzer and it truly is buttery!
I know filling in eyebrows isn’t for everyone… I used to not do it! I just started filling in my brows within the last couple years because I was noticing they were getting sparce at the ends. After reading some reviews, I decided to try out Benefit’s products. Now, I only use the Goof Proof Brow Pencil! The formula is creamy and easy blendable. It’s like using a pencil, so effortless. It’s so easy to achieve a natural or bold looking brow. It comes in a great range of shades. Consider trying this pencil if you’re in the market. One pencil lasts me 6 months+ and this pencil makes this task so effortless and quick!
Are you in the market for a lightweight, buildable foundation? Do you want coverage that doesn’t feel cakey or heavy? Are you looking for a flawless look? IT Cosmetics has you, girl! Personally, I love a natural finish that isn’t heavy. I don’t like the look of cake face (trust me — I’ve lived those days when I danced). I decided to take a chance on the IT Cosmetics “Your Skin But Better” CC Cream and I have fallen in love. The tube is awesome and has a pump so it isn’t terribly messy. Most importantly, the consistency is creamy and light. If you like a light coverage, just dab a few dots on your face, blend and go! If you like a medium to full coverage, keep building. I am so impressed by this product and it’s versatility. It also has SPF 50 so that’s amazing! I linked the travel size product ($15) if you’d like to shop it and try a smaller size first!
I’m a sucker for lipsticks in any color and any shade! I’ve been using Colourpop’s lipsticks for years now and I have tons of them in my stash. What I love about Colourpop’s lipsticks the most is their formula, price and shade range. I have both nude and bright colors. They offer lip glosses, traditional lipsticks, satin finish lipsticks, blotted lipsticks and ultra matte lipsticks. Personally, I love the matte look. Their matte lipsticks are not at all drying! Don’t you hate when you’re wearing a matte lip and it completely dries your lips out? Colourpop’s lips do not do that! They look gorgeous, non-crackly and they stay on throughout your day. Consider picking up a few of their shades — they’re only $6.50!
Are you in the market for a new dry shampoo? Look no further, ladies! I’ve tried many dry shampoos and nothing compares to the Dove brand! Dove’s dry shampoo comes in three different scents and uses: all for refreshing, cleaning, volume and freshness. It leaves a white cast, but I deal with that by rubbing it in at my roots with my hands (which is what you’re supposed to do anyway). I’ve been trying to go longer without washing my hair, and Dove helps me out a lot. Also, you can’t beat the price! For $5, head over to your local drug store or Target and snag a bottle of this. Plus, the scents are to die for! My favorite is the Fresh Coconut!
A couple years ago, I colored my hair and it hasn’t been the same since. The ends have been dry and I’ve noticed a lot of split ends. I was in the market for a good hair oil that would both bring moisture back to my hair and smooth it’s appearance. I found OGX’s Keratin Oil and orderd it off of Amazon. I’ve been using it everyday for a few months now and I love the way it makes my hair feel and look. I mainly run it through my ends and I can totally see my ends just sucking up the moisture. It has a great smell and it gives your hair a beautiful, shiny appearance. I’d highly recommend this product if you’re looking for something for your dry hair or just want a beautiful shine!
